Introduction

This extraordinary yacht started life in 1963 as a "Jaguar class" fast attack boat for the germany navy 1963. With its trademark aluminium-framed mahogany hull, this Luerssen was able to sail over magnetic mines without setting them off. The reinforced bow furthermore augmented it's attack capabilities, making it able to ram into enemy vessels and bring them to sink.

Originally powered by four mercedes engines producing 12,000hp, this impressive naval vessel was capable of being propelled to well in excess of 40 knots.

In the 1970's, the W140 Jaguar class attack boats were decommissioned by the German navy. Many of these models went to the turkish navy, afterwich they fell into the hands of private individuals.

The Selah shipyard and owerns have succeded into transforming this vessel into a modern-day luxury yacht, catering for the highest needs in personal comfort and entertainment.

Her sleek hull design, inteded for high speed passage, enables "SEA STAR" to realise an extremely low fuel consumption, giving rise to an enormous autonomy and unlimited opportunities for exploration.
